Handling :

Use personal protective equipment to avoid skin contact.
Effects of over - exposure acute poisioning may occure with contamination of food and water. Nitrates are converted into Nitrited by reduction in human system promoting the formation of methaemoglobin. Symptoms of Nitrite poisioning will occur sudh as Haemoeathic injuries and drop in blood pressure.

Safety Information :
INCOMPATABILITY
With acids, ammonium salts, Potassium & Sodium pyro sulfite. Strong oxidising agent. Producing Nitric acid with liberation of Nitrous Oxides.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID
In case of eye contact wash with plenty of water. In case of intake rinse the mouth with water and consult physician immediately.

FIRE AND EXPLOSIVE HAZARD DATA
Decomposes at 380 °C.

DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS
Nitrous oxides.

Water.
