Handling

Blovel is an inflammable solid which is susceptible to heat and shock. Should not be exposed for long periods to sunlight.

Use personal protective equipment such as gloves, goggles and gumboots while handling, to avoid skin contact. Wash hands before intake of food. Highly toxic (Limit 1000 mg/Kg, LD50 in rats).

INCOMPATIBILITY
With Acids and Acid salts, Guanidine Nitrate, Ammonium Nitrate and Zinc Chloride.

FIRE AND EXPLOSIVE HAZARD DATA
Highly inflammable. Susceptible to heat, impact, oxidising and reducing agents, resulting in fire.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID
In case of over exposure shift the affected person to an open area of fresg air and give oxygen, if necessary. If ingested, induce vomiting, give lots of water and if symptoms persist call a physician.
